Shawn’s love for the art of photography began at an early age when his father gave him an old camera with which to experiment. His skill developed with his travels overseas. It was a hobby he refined to the point of starting a home business. He enjoyed working with his wife, Jennifer, on various photography projects.

Shawn’s strength was in his eye for people. He enjoyed capturing the essence of nature, relationships and personalities. This calendar was carefully compiled to share a few samples of his art with you. Since 2005, the calendar project and BELIEVE Jewelry have raised $25,000 for Honduras to build a water well, filter system and cistern tanks to hold water in the individual homes for a village of 500 people. The final project is building a school for this village where one has not existed previously. The school project will cost $10,000.
