Fourth Annual Public Safety Challenge | View additional information
This year's event had 13 participating Public Safety Challenge teams from around the metro area. Congratulations to the top finishing teams:
First Place: New Brighton Department of Public Safety
Second Place: The Blue Dakotas
Third Place: Blaine Police Department
Each year, the winning team receives special Public Safety Challenge commemorative dry-fit shirts, and has their team name engraved on the traveling trophy.

To participate, simply fill out the entry (online or paper) and include your team name. If you choose to wait until race day registration, or decide at a later date to become a part of a team, you are able to add your team on race day. Police Explorer teams are welcome to participate. Each year, the Shawn Silvera Memorial Run is honored to be an annual Moms On The Run tradition. With ten Twin Cities locations available, today is a great day to start training with Moms On The Run!
Volunteers | Interested in Volunteering?
Each year we are amazed by the growing number of runners and families that participate in the Shawn Silvera Memorial Run. We rely heavily on assistance of volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering, we thank you and ask you to contact us. There are opportunities before the event and of course on race day.
Donations
Each year we are asked about financial donations, many times by those who may not be able or available to participate. Tax deductible donations are accepted and appreciated. If you are interested in donations, you can do so by downloading the entry form and simply include a note indicating the amount included is a donation. If you would like to make a donation online, you may do so by visiting Active.com.
